A fan made a post asking why Liberian artists are getting huge streams on Audiomack but can’t say the same for Apple Music and Spotify.

In response, Ghana-based Liberian artist Nikey 20 listed a few reasons why this is the case. He also mentioned the risks of buying fake streams.

According to Nikey 20, most fans in Liberia don’t have credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, or ATM cards, which is one reason they prefer streaming on Audiomack because it is free.

He said Apple Music and Spotify are not free. Moreover, Audiomack is the biggest streaming platform in Liberia.

He also mentioned that buying streams as an artist is risky because you won’t know who is actually streaming your music. Moreover, you run the risk of having your song removed by Audiomack.
