Christoph The Change poised to become MLMA Artist of the Year ahead of JzyNo
Liberian rapper, Christoph The Change is considered a top contender for 2026 MLMA Artist of the Year following the continued success of "Chris The EP". Strong verses on collaborations, the release of hit single “Korkorzikor”, and back to back engagement in 2026 have position him as lead in the industry.
Christoph is currently undertaking a historic 15 counties tour, with a potential climax in Monrovia on at the SKD Sports Complex.
Aside Christoph, artist such as JzyNo, King Dennis, Teddyride, and J Boy De Prophet are all in line to win the prestigious award. Though JzyNo “Sofaya” featuring Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay is by far one of the most successful songs out of Liberia this year, it still falls short behind the massive love for Christoph verse on XXX.
